APPLICATIONS

Where this service
fits the work.

Different sites call for different access, equipment planning and responsibilities. These are common starting points—not a claim that every job includes the same work.

Sewer & drain cleaning

Describe the affected line, known deposits and symptoms. Keep sanitary and storm systems distinct.

Storm drain flushing

Define the pipe run and access points separately from catch basin cleanout.

Inspection preparation

Cleaning may form part of an inspection plan. Agree the sequence and inspection scope separately.

THE WORK / EXPLAINED

When deposits inside a line need attention.

Jetting is a cleaning method for deposits within a defined drain or sewer run, not a structural pipe repair.

Signs worth discussing

  • A line has recurring buildup or restricted flow and its access points are known.
  • A storm or sanitary drain has an identified cleaning or flushing requirement.
  • Cleaning is being considered before a separate CCTV condition inspection.

How the work is assessed

High-pressure water is used to dislodge deposits along the accessible pipe run. Correct pressure, access and recovery arrangements depend on the pipe condition, diameter and system context.

Where the scope ends

Jetting cannot repair a broken, offset or collapsed pipe. Sanitary, storm and private drains carry different ownership and discharge responsibilities; CCTV and pit cleaning must be scoped separately.

QUESTIONS FOR YOUR SITE

Get the right scope from the start.

  1. Is this a sanitary or storm line and who is responsible for it?
  2. Where can the pipe be accessed and what do prior cleaning or CCTV results show?
  3. Is the goal routine maintenance, clearing a restriction or preparing for inspection?

READY TO TALK SCOPE?

What to send
before the quote.

Measurements, photographs, drawings and previous maintenance information are useful when you have them. Keep the initial request simple; sensitive files can be discussed securely during follow-up.
